WM's Phoenix Open Event Puts Sustainability First

Sustainability is important to me. Not the greenwash variety, but the true-blue urge to do what's right for the next generation and our planet.

That's why I launched the Waste360 Sustainability Talks before the topic was so mainstream.

WM (Waste Management) is an organization that walks the walk and talks the talk. I dug into their sustainability report for their awe-inspiring Phoenix Open -- the greenest show on turf.

Live events are a herculean feat on their own without the aggressive zero-waste goals attached to them. So, to say that this event is aspirational to many is an understatement.

Take a look at more details here. It gets into some of the statistics around the event. Their team has even more impressive goals for future events, and I can't wait to see what's in store. I'm hearing about carbon offsetting and other next-level goals.

Thanks for reading.
